Projects for Assistance in Transitioning from Homelessness
PATH is an outreach program that assists homeless individuals with mental illnesses living outdoors or in places not meant for human habitation, to access suitable services or housing. PATH conducts outreach in the Anchorage, AK community meeting consumers where they are.
Evidenced-based, culturally competent and strengths-based outreach techniques are used to engage individuals who are homeless and are experiencing mental illness.
PATH aims to re-integrate consumers with financial, medical, employment and housing services by connecting them with services either internally or externally.
PATH can occasionally help with resources towards housing, as well as emergency items needed for survival such as hand-warmers, water, snacks, and warm clothing.
